I am Sarah– The artist behind Sarah Venom.
Sarah Venom is a creative world built from the things I have always been drawn to: music, poetry, movement, mystery, beauty, transformation, and the complicated places where love and self-discovery meet.
Venom represents protection and transformation–but also represents music moving through our veins. For me, music isn’t something I just hear. It is something I feel moving through my body. It becomes rhythm, movement, emotion and then energy.
Sarah Venom is the meeting point between the beautiful and the dangerous, the mysterious and the expressive. A world where sound becomes movement, movement becomes magic, and creativity gets under your skin.
The rose is one of my most important symbols. At first, it may look like simply a red rose–but to me, it represents something deeper: love, vulnerability, beauty, pain, growth and the strength that can come from protecting something delicate. A rose on a vine. The vine represents the way life, love, and experiences intertwine and how we can grow, change and become better than we thought. It’s thorns are just as important–they represent boundaries and protection.
The wolf represents instinct, trust, and the question of knowing who is safe. The mask represents mystery and the parts of ourselves we choose to reveal.
My poetry collection: Between the Roses & the Wolf brings together poems written across different periods of my life, exploring love, vulnerability, self-worth, trust, and growth.
Now those words are becoming music through singing, digital music production, writing and LED hula hoop performance.
Sarah Venom is still evolving.
